BioHowdy. I'm Shawn P. Wilbur, known for years online as "bookish." I'm a bookseller, live sound engineer, electronic musician, independent historian and archivist, and, from time to time, a part-time university instructor. I was born in the Redwood Empire of northern California, and have spent much of my life in California, Oregon, Ohio, or far-northern New Hampshire. I finished my undergrad work at Oregon State and completed a master's degree at Bowling Green State University. Small business misadventures got in the way of my doctoral work, but not, ultimately, in the way of the research I started then. I'm currently doing biblio-biographical-critical work on William Batchelder Greene (1819-1878): soldier, minister, banking theorist, mutualist anarchist, etc.
